In July 2015, Savannah was in a car accident and suffered a severe injury to her spinal cord. She was rushed to Children’s Hospital Colorado where pediatric surgeons preformed a tracheostomy to help her breathe and fused her spine. After the accident, Savannah spent three months at Children’s Colorado recovering and is now a quadriplegic. But with her determined spirit, Savannah never lets her condition stop her from doing what she loves.
