After being diagnosed with skeletal dysplasia, a condition that affects bone and cartilage growth, Kaley has undergone multiple spinal and feet surgeries throughout her 8 years of life. Kaley also had a feeding tube for many years and suffers from severe sleep apnea. After joining a new school last fall and realizing that kids saw her as “different,” she was given the opportunity to speak to the entire student body at a school assembly to educate the students about her condition. At the next school assembly, she was given an award for respect, which was voted on by her classmates.

Today, she is also a member of Little People of America and fosters kittens in her spare time. Tune in to learn more about Kaley’s journey.
