Slacker and Steve - OPP: Older Brother Sleepover (Audio)

September 16, 2016

Today's OPP is from Lisa and she needs your help! Her 12-year-old daughter has made a new friend at school and the two young girls want to have a sleepover, however there is one thing that is stopping Lisa from letting her daughter go. Her daughter's friend has a 14 going on 15-year-old brother. She knows exactly how teenage boys can be and what they are capable of. She can't have the sleepover at her house because her mother lives with her and she can get stressed out extremely easy and two young girls running around would not be the best for her. Lisa says she trusts her daughter, but not teenage boys. She want to tell her daughter the reason why she can't attend the sleepover, but doesn't know how.

How can Lisa communicate to her daughter that the reason why she can't attend the sleepover is because of a boy? Do you think Lisa is going overboard or do you agree with her reasoning?
