Slacker and Steve - GMD: Underage Tattoo (Audio)

April 29, 2016

Jonathan and his wife Cassidy cannot seem to reach an agreement when it comes to the skin of their 16-year-old daughter Sophia. Cassidy recently lost her father and his passing has been difficult to deal with especially for Sophia. The two had a fantastic bond; they even shared the same birthday. Sophia wants to get their birthday tattooed on her shoulder blade to commemorate her grandfather. Cassidy is all for the ink. She thinks that it would be a great way to remember him and that it will help the grieving process for her daughter. The tattoo would be small, tastefully done, and easy to cover with clothing. Jonathan is completely against tattoos at any age. He thinks that they look trashy and that there are plenty of ways to commemorate her grandfather. Jonathan also adds that Sophia will be a legal adult in two years and she should wait until then to get something permanently marked into her skin.

How young is too young to get a tattoo? Whose side are you on?

Cassidy's father recently passed away. He shared the same birthday as her 16-year-old daughter and she wants to get a small tattoo to commemorate him. Husband, Jonathan, is completely against it, but Cassidy is all for it. Is 16 too young for a tattoo? Whose side are you on?
