Slacker and Steve - Extreme Parenting (Audio)

April 20, 2016

Some of us had them and some of us were lucky, or maybe you are one. Extreme parents can sometimes take things too far with their children just to teach them a lesson and a man in Ohio can tell you all about it. An Ohio dad went to great lengths to teach his kids all about “stranger danger.” He hired his friend to pose as an ex-convict and to approach his teenage boys at their house, all to see if the boys would let the stranger in.  Good news is they didn’t. Bad news is that the young boys were so frightened that they jumped out of their bedroom window onto the roof and ran to the neighbor’s house to call 911. Even the friend playing the con character thought that the lesson was going too far, but the father told his friend to keep up with the act. Both men are now facing child-endangering charges.

Are you an extreme parent or did you have one? What happened when things were taken too far?
