The Oscars were not lacking in fashion or elegance this year as some of the biggest names in the industry brought their fashion A-game. The night had a feel of old Hollywood from the fashion to the stage design. Beautiful long dresses, velvet blazers, and pant suits filled the red carpet. Here are some of our favs...

The stage was backlit with hundreds of vintage inspired bulbs that made a magnificent backdrop for the show.

Now let's focus on those who rocked it!!

Saoirse Ronan- Looking absolutely gorgeous in a custom emerald Calvin Klein dress. The perfect color to pay homage to her Irish roots.

Jennifer Garner- Newly single and maybe ready to mingle? Eat your heart out Benny boo boo boo.

Lady Gaga- We are really glad that she has changed her fashion ways. Gone are the days of meat suits and lobster claw heals. Gaga looked gorgeous in a white pant/dress combo and bared a slight resemblance to the lovely Marilyn Monroe. And the way her fiancée Taylor Kinney is looking at her... #Swoon

Kevin Hart- With a personality that makes him 10 feet tall would you expect anything less from this man for an outfit choice? Few can pull off a bedazzled suit, but we aren't mad at you for this one Mr. Hart.

Kerry Washington- That leather number must have been hotter than a mother-shut your mouth but Kerry looked fierce. #SoScandalous #SoHot

And we can't finish without talking about the man of the hour!

Leonardo DiCaprio- Congratulations Leo!!! It's about time! Also, how great is it that he brought his mom with him for his big night. #marryme #neverletgo
