Yi!!
On Friday we decided to a topic called, “Why do we want to talk to you on Tuesday?” We wanted to hear about any juicy drama you had going on in your life and lucky for us, we got a call from a woman named Alicia. She had just gotten a call from her mom on Thursday saying she got a call from her boyfriend Jason, asking if he could take them to dinner. So, they went and while eating he asked for permission to marry her and they said no!! She got a call from Jason Friday morning asking her to go to dinner Saturday night. So, she knows Saturday night was going to be the night, so what exactly happened? Well…
He took her to a restaurant she always wanted to go to. It was like a dream come true, but she thought for the longest time he wasn’t going to propose. They got all the way to dessert, she couldn’t really eat she was so nervous and then he did it. He got down on his knees and asked for her hand in marriage. She told him not to take offense but she really needed to think about it. Then, she dropped the big question. Did you ask my parents? …And he lied! He said he asked her permission and they were totally cool with it! She couldn’t believe he had just lied to her face and he was good at it! How is she supposed to trust him?
Slacker says he’s either one of two men. Is he the guy that is willing to do anything to be the man in her life or is he just trouble? Slacker thinks most women are going to tell her to run because they’ve been scorned by a liar, but who in that position wouldn’t do the exact same thing?
The question that lingers with me is why did he lie? Why did he feel the need to lie to the woman he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with? Is he afraid of losing her? There’s so many questions and the only way to solve it, is to ask him why? Alicia should tell the truth herself, explain to him she knew it was coming and why, and then maybe it’ll help him open up and tell the truth. I hope we get an update soon and find out what her answer is!!
