Ted Nugent called President Obama a criminal and said his "vile, evil, America-hating administration" is "wiping its ass with the Constitution." He made the comments at a National Rifle Association conference over the weekend.
Nugent has already endorsed Mitt Romney for president, and urged everyone to get a "couple of thousand" people to cast their ballot for Romney as well.
A statement from the spokesman said: "We are aware of it and we'll conduct an appropriate follow up."
