Spring Break!

Yi!!

Spring break… It’s wild, it’s crazy and it only comes around once a year… According to 83% of college students, spring break trips normally involve a lot more drinking than usual. 75% says there is an increase in sexual activity and 70% have friends that have been sexually active with more than one person on a spring break trip. How would you feel if your parents had a GPS device on you though? For $20 a month, parents can track your every move with a device called SecurePAL. When they push the SOS button, they can receive text messages or emails of your exact location. On top of that they can even set up virtual boundaries that will alert them when the device enters or departs a designated area. There’s even an option for listening in for $30 a month! Have you ever been tracked before? Parents, would you use this device?

Now that Slacker has a daughter, he has to care about spring break, but he doesn’t even want to imagine what it’ll be like when she gets to that age. He never did anything over spring break. He tried to make us believe he brought alcohol into a room with his band mates in Florida, but it was really some ginger ale. Steve never went on spring break either. They’re pretty lame, so they want to hear your spring break stories, especially if parents are going to start taking all the fun out of it!

Unfortunately, I’m pretty lame, as well. If I went on spring break, it was a cruise or a week on the beach in Florida with my parents! I couldn’t get away from them, especially on a boat. I did get to do fun things though, like hang out on a private island drinking coronas and tubing down a river in Jamaica. They were good times, but they could have been better! You know... cool

Do you have a story?
