Should Mattel Create A Cancer Barbie?

Yi!!

A 7 year old girl in Texas has been wearing a scarf on her head to cover up the fact that she’s been losing her hair, battling cancer for the second time. Her story has inspired people to start a campaign to Mattel, asking them to produce a cancer Barbie.

Steve is afraid to admit this because he understands where the girl is coming from, but little girls love brushing their dolls hair.

Slacker is thinking in terms of a business. They are trying to make money… They need to make a profit. How much money do you think they would really make? He wishes children could have something to relate to, but… And that’s where he stopped. He doesn’t know the right answer. Could this be a scary downer?

I feel like they should make the Barbie. I know it may not make a ton of money, but maybe they could produce less of them. They could donate the money to charity that way it changes people’s lives along with showing little girls that no matter what they look like, they are beautiful.

Do you think Mattel should create the Barbie?

cancer barbie
Yes they should ; not only they would make a lot of money for breast cancer but Mattel too. If they do a wig shop and like Steve said the little girls like to comb hair ; they would even have the option of blond ; brown ; red; etc.... It would be awesome.... wigs; by locks of love... can you imagine... Brigitte Martineau 303-955-2219

Absolutely
Why not teach kids to have compassion for others. I think you're underestimating that kids won't want the doll. I bet Mattel would make a fortune on this. I'd buy for all my nieces!
