We all know these things that happen at our work behind the scenes that no one in the public should ever know about. That’s what makes it so juicy… So, we want to hear what it is!!
Have you ever wondered what really happens to your bag after you drop the suitcase off with the airline? Sometimes you get back what looks like a bruise or ding or your suitcase and you’re like, I didn’t pay for this?!? Well, it just so happens that your luggage gets blended in with all the other items that get transported though the air. There is everything from fruits flying from state to state to human remains! Gross! That’s probably why they call it “throwing bags” for a reason! If you ever try to put a fragile sticker on the side of your luggage, you’re just going to get a giggle from the employee’s of that airline. They have to keep moving full speed ahead to get the planes up in the air as fast as they can, and sometimes they are moving so fast that’s why tags get misread and some don’t even get scanned so they end up lost. You have to expect it to come with the territory… So as a note, they recommend you stick ID tags on the outside and inside, hold onto the receipt, and buy a suitcase that has four wheel rolling, that way it has less a chance of getting thrown.
See, this is my job so you’re not getting anything out of me. I will leave all of that up to Slacker and Steve!
