Parents Call The Cops On Their Party-Hosting Daughters

A Connecticut mom and dad came home from a trip a day early to find their teenage daughters throwing a huge party in their house. The parents didn't just freak out… they actually called the cops. The 15 and 16-year-old girls threw parties each night with about 15 to 20 people. They tried to get another one going the night their parents decided to come home early. The parents called the cops because it was "the right thing to do." Most of the kids took off but both of the daughters were arrested for permitting minors to have alcohol.
Slacker now these girls are going to have a record. Slacker does not believe in the tough love idea. Slacker said he wouldn’t want to be the one to do the punishment. There are so many other options.
Steve Did they do the right thing? They may be saving lives. Steve thinks you should try to be the parent first then if that doesn’t work then maybe go for the tough love thing. Law enforcement would be the last on the list.
Did your parents ever show any type of tough love like this? What did they do?
I once got really drunk as a teen and came home. Instead of letting me sleep it off my parents woke me up early and made me go to work with them in construction. Loud noises and lots of sun made me feel like I may die but it taught me not to do that again, for a while at least.
