Jamie wants to propose to her boyfriend, and to make it even more interesting she wants to do it on Valentine's Day. The problem is that she needs ideas on how to propose or if she should even propose at all.
Slacker thinks they should talk her out of it. He thinks it’s a hostile environment and a bad idea. He wonders if they have traditional gender roles in their relationship and wonders what her boyfriend will think when she takes away something he is meant to do. He wonders if she’ll get on one knee or if she’ll make him get on his knee instead.
Steve thinks it’s cliché to propose on Valentine’s Day. He thinks she is taking his role in the relationship by not letting him propose to her. He wonders if woman get on one knee while proposing. He thinks it’s wrong to belittle him in the proposal idea that she wants. He thinks she would lack the special moment of being proposed to that most women dream of.
Ladies, would you propose to your boyfriend? If so how would you do it?
I think tradition or not the man should always be the one to propose in the relationship. It takes away his dominance and the special moment if the woman proposes. I’m wondering if he’s planning to propose on Valentine’s Day!
