Her boyfriend won a trip to Europe and she wants him to enjoy the European experience…the WHOLE experience! You might think what she’s suggesting is crazy, she wants to give him a hall pass! A hall pass is a one-time thing to let her significant other to hook up with a European woman while on vacation! She is completely ok with this happening.…
“YI! I'm 22 years young and I am currently in a relationship with someone I could really see myself being with for several years to come. We have been together for a year and I love him with all of my heart; he's my best friend. Recently, the company my man works for put on a contest and whichever employee sells the "cap" amount of a specific product gets to go on a trip to Paris for a week. Well, my man won the contest and I couldn't be more proud of him! This has been his lifelong dream to go to Europe and he finally gets to go with all expenses paid. (Lucky him) Unfortunately, he is not allowed to bring a significant other because it is a company trip only.
Not too long ago I was listening to your show and you had an OPP about a "hall pass". It really intrigued me and got me thinking about my own relationship. I have been going back and forth on whether or not to give him a hall pass in Europe. I want him to live this trip to the absolute fullest- no regrets. I want him to come back with a giant smile on his face knowing that Europe was everything he has ever wanted and more! Part of me feels like if he doesn't get to experience a true European woman while he is out there that the trip won't be quite as amazing. What man wouldn't want to do the deed with a hot foreign chick? I'm straight as an arrow and even I would go for it! Do you think it's a good idea? Or do you think this will cause problems in the end? “
Slacker thinks that the only good outcome of this is if he just doesn't use the hall pass and Steve thinks he shouldn't do it either. And they both agree that it sounds like head games, the 'im ok' when really your in deep and shes upset. Steve says he should be on his toes and be cautious with what he does.
Is this a good idea or a bad idea? What do you think?
