Today's OPP came from Evan:
Yi! My girlfriend wants to get engaged. I do not, but still want to date her. This is a problem. My friends say I should buy her a promise ring. Do women like promise rings or are they a cop out?

Steve lived with an old girlfriend named Kelly and he loved her birth stone, so he bought her a box with a ring in it of her birth stone for her birthday, but...It wasn't a wedding ring! Steve thought it was a great gift, but soon realized he was being such a d-bag. He looks back and knows he wasn't thinking...
Slacker wants to know, if the promise ring is a no go for Evan, should his girlfriend force a proposal or end the relationship? Does it come down to an ultimatum?
