Talk about mega-cute. Our nation’s First Couple took about a minute-and-a-half recently to record a video remembrance of their first date back in 1989, which happened to involve seeing Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, which is celebrating it’s quarter-century mark this year.
The president says they ate lunch at the Art Institute of Chicago, took a little walk, then went to see this new movie that people were talking about that was supposed to be pretty good.
Michelle says Barack was trying to show her “his sophisticated side by selecting an independent filmmaker, and it ended up being a pretty good movie.”
The folks at Fox News say it’s all just a liberal conspiracy to get Spike Lee an ambassadorship.
Watch the video of the video. It really is super cute.
