Over what’s supposed to be a joyous time of year, two women in Michigan, started attacking each other over a coveted parking space. An Oak Park woman mentioned to police she was cut off by a lady that pulled in front of her to grab a space just south of the entrance to a Nordstrom’s. The two apparently exchanged some words before spotting each other again at the door where the other woman “body checked” her. Eventually, the other woman got into a white Toyota and sped away. Unfortunately, many meltdowns like this occur during the holidays and there’s usually only one side to the story.
All of Slacker’s meltdown moments have been internal or he will tell his wife, but mainly he will just vent it all out in his car. He will never say anything to anybody, except maybe give them the side eye. Once he was trying to buy an ink cartridge and the lady wanted to sell him a gift card. He didn’t really want the gift card and he just wanted to go to work so when he walked out, he noticed she charged him for the card, which by the way if you want that gift car, it’s yours, but he wishes he could have just gone in there and said, Excuse me, but I think you made a mistake. He doesn’t have the guts to do that so he wishes he and Steve could get a life coach to help teach him.
My meltdown moment consists of buying all my favorite junk food, sitting down to a good movie and just crying or like Slacker said, if I’m angry, I'll just yell about it in my car. I do that a lot… I’ve always had that thought in my mind to grab something and just throw it or shove someone to the floor, but I’m too nice and my brain takes over saying, oh, you’re going to have to clean that up or apologize later.
