Sally Field is trying to find a girlfriend for her son. She's trying to set him up with every girl she encounters! Steve posed the question: Would you rather be with a guy whose mom emailed you asking you on a date for her son? Or, a guy that hasn’t talked to his mom in over a year?
If the genders were reversed, both Slacker and Steve would rather be with a girl that doesn't have much of a relationship with her family than one that rely's on her parents for everything. Steve thinks that how he treats his mom is how he will treat you in a relationship. Slacker think that how he treats a waitress is reflective of how he'll treat you.
So ladies, which is a bigger red flag? A guy whose mom emailed you asking you on a date for her son? Or, a guy that hasn’t talked to his mom in over a year?
