After many months of hopes and speculation, the palace has confirmed that Duchess Kate Middleton is pregnant with what could be the future King of England.
The news of Kate's pregnancy has been released due to the fact that the Duchess has been admitted to the hospital with a serious amount of morning sickness.
The rare pregnancy illness can cause dehydration and for some can last until the baby is born. It affects only 1 to 2% of pregnant women and in some cases means that the pregnancy will result in twins.
The Duchess is currently on a drip to restore fluids she has lost during the extreme morning sickness and will be kept in the hospital for a few days as a precaution.
The palace has not released how far along the Duchess is but many are assuming six to twelve weeks due to her level of illness.
