A Florida woman who really wanted a screwdriver proved she had a screw loose – by pulling a gun and threatening her roommate for hiding her bottle of vodka. Cops arrived after the roomie called 911 to report the altercation with Kari Ann Dangler, who said she had done nothing wrong – and had only brought out the revolver to clean it for a third roommate, who was the actual owner. Upon further examination, a deputy found that the weapon had been fired recently, and Dangler admitted that she had gotten off one shot – in the direction of a frog that was making too much noise near her pool. Fortunately for her roomies, the frog was the only thing that croaked.
What is the worst thing that a roommate has ever done to you?
We have a cursed candy dish at the radio station...and it has made a return! The candy dish was known for getting the person who had it on their desk fired, and another person has fallen victim! The dish disappeared for a short time, but someone found it and moved it to their desk and now they're gone!!!
Yi! On Friday, I caught my 11 year-old son shoplifting after I overheard him and his friends talking about stealing candy and some drinks. I spent the weekend contemplating how to handle it. Should I march my son to the police station and scare him or just have a talk with him? Do you and your audience have any suggestions?
What do you think Christine should do with her son?
We found a list of the most common things men do that makes them immature. They are:
1. Finding their own farts and burps hilarious.
2. Eating fast food at 2:00 a.m.
3. Playing video games.
4. Driving too fast.
5. Laughing at swear words.
6. Driving with loud music.
7. Playing practical jokes.
8. Trying to beat children at games.
9. Staying silent during an argument.
10. Not being able to cook simple meals.
11. Re-telling the same silly jokes.
12. Don't like talking about themselves.
13. Hating reading because it's boring.
14. Doing crazy dance moves.
15. Getting their laundry done by mom.
16. Having meals prepared by mom.
17. Wearing sneakers out.
18. Owning a skateboard or BMX bike.
19. Not eating vegetables.
20. Changing jobs regularly.
21. Getting too excited about singles events.
22. Trying to do wheelies on their bike.
23. Driving a souped up car.
24. Bragging about how hot women think they are.
25. Wearing cartoon pajamas.
26. Chatting women up online.
27. Showing off about fitness.
29. Sagging their pants.
30. Having a cartoon bedspread.
Slacker says that Steve does at least half of these, but Steve says he does maybe 6...tops! Slacker ratted Steve out for number 30. Steve corrected him and reminded him that it was a football bedspread not a cartoon bedspread. Slacker also says that Steve does numbers 26 and 4. Steve admits he can't do number 10.
A London man was picking out bananas at the store and found a tarantula the size of his hand! What have you found in your food?
A Californian woman looked to see if her burger had onions and instead it was a razor blade. Cops came and the story is checking out...Slacker was out at a restaurant took a bite in and with his tacos was also the packaging for the meat. He knows people who have also had glass in their food… Also there have been reports of people who have found frogs in their bagged lettuces.
Today's OPP is from Amy who is struggling with two addicts in her family…
Yi! Our family is trapped in video game hell. My son is 17, and the gaming is out of control. It has ruined our relationship, turning him into someone I don't even know who uses language that I can't believe is coming from him. What's more, my husband (his dad) allows it, because he is just as addicted to playing. They will sit and play games for 12-plus hours at a time, ignoring mealtimes and my requests to set a time limit.
Since we aren't in agreement, I'm trying to find a solution on my own. Forget imposing limits or taking the game away; violence begins (doors smashed, etc). I'm to the breaking point and don't even want to be in my own home anymore. I am even considering divorce. Any suggestions?
Slacker believes that being addicted to video games is just as bad as drugs. You go in and get your fix, but every time it takes more and more to get to where you want to be. Video games are also expensive they are at least $60 each, and they keep releasing new ones all of the time. Steve thinks that Amy should give in and just start gaming with her husband and son. Recently there was a stat that stated more and more women are starting to play video games.
What advice do you have for today's OPP?
I would try to find them a new habit, probably one that doesn't require hours being glued to the TV.
Over the weekend Slacker washed his Audi really well. On the way home he drove very carefully to avoid any sprinklers or anything else that could get on his car. When he pulled up to his gated community, he was waiting for the gate to open and the sprinklers turned on and got his car!
Since slacker got his Audi he keeps it looking the best it possibly can. Leaving the car wash place, he realized that his master piece could potentially be spoiled by sprinklers. Right when he gets to the gate waiting for it to open, the sprinklers turned on and sprayed his Audi…
Lil D purchased too much food that he couldn't close his frig…
One woman blew up her mini-van in order to get a new one! Have you ever sabotaged anything to get something better?
Slacker and Steve are no angles and have been sabotaging things since the beginning. When Steve played baseball they strategically broke an aluminum bat and received three brand new bats from the company. Slacker always seems to be in cahoots with technology *cough* apple products *cough* right around the time they release the upgraded version…
If anyone wants to sabotage my things to get me something better that would be great… but I feel too guilty to do it myself.
Maybe it's an embarrassing dad story…maybe it's a bad dad story…maybe it's something your dad let you do without your mom knowing… Father's Day is this weekend and we want to hear your dad story!
Slackers dad went outside in one of two different outfits. The day time was a way too short sea foam/blue get up that was toughly embarrassing. Or if he ever heard anything at night he would go out and make sure everything was okay… in his tighty whities.
I've been dating my girlfriend for over year now and I really do care for her. The only issue I have is her two children. One is 12 and the other is 10 and basically they're monsters. They show no respect to anyone. They're rude, loud, confrontational and all around bad kids. I know it's not my place to say anything, but at what point in a relationship can you put your foot down and discipline kids that are not yours. How should I go about this? I don't want to step on my girl's toes on this, but something has to be done.
Slacker was over at the neighbor's house and all of the kids were there running around… one of the little boys almost knocked over an expensive vase, Slacker grabbed the vase and told the kid to chill out a little bit… same thing happened again so he smacked the kids hand away from breaking the vase. When it comes to parenting it is hard to see what your kid's are doing all of the time so if you every catch Slacker's kids misbehaving feel free to tell them to knock it off.
What advice do you have for Marc?
I have the mentality that it takes a village to raise a child; it is hard to take care of kids without help. I don't think that hitting is appropriate, but he should have a voice when it comes to discipline and manners.
Daniel has a safe that he keeps important documents and valuable items in…and his girlfriend Edie wants to know the combination. He says that there's no reason for her to know, but she thinks he needs to be in the know in case anything ever happens to him.
Daniel's safe is an antique passed down from his Grandpa and the combo is going to be the combo forever. Slacker and Steve see where both Daniel and Edie are coming from… but lets face it, it is more likely that they will break up than for him to be in a coma and her have to break into the safe. Slacker and Steve are leaning towards Daniel's side. Even though they share passwords to e-mail addresses and such, this antique safe will only have one password.
Whose side are you on for today's Great Mate Debate?
I am on Daniel's side, but I think that her things should be in a different safe. I believe that if you are not married there are still a lot of private and confidential documents, and the other doesn't need access to important documents till that point.
We got a Facebook message from a wife that found a box of female underwear hidden in the garage. They belonged to her hubby and he said they were his "dating trophies."
Slacker claims he has never done this. He says he's given women sweatshirts or T-shirts, but never a dating trophy. Steve says that he knew of a guy that would ask girls at the end f the night for a trophy. Even creepier, Steve says he knew of a guy who would clip the tags of bras and save them. Slacker says that he's had girls offer to give him their scents before he would go on vacation so that he would think of her, but never much more than that.
Has anyone asked you for a dating trophy? Do you still have your dating trophies?
Crazy bridezilla's, ruined wedding dresses, fist fights…weddings can get pretty crazy.
Celebrity "health guru" Rainbeau Mars had an unusual wedding demand for all of her guests – to go vegan and eat a live food diet for 21 days. Guests also will have the option of attending breath-work classes, horseback riding and yoga at the wedding – which will be in Hawaii.
Here's another wedding fiasco: a couple who got married last weekend just got out of jail this weekend. What's the best way to celebrate…how about going back to the big house? The groom was Irish so they had a traditional Irish wedding which included him wearing a kilt. Irish men don't wear underwear under their kilts. During a pre-wedding photo shoot the groom sat on the bride's knee. The groom accidentally left a doo-doo skid mark on the bride's dress and they couldn't get the stain out. Fists began flying, cops were called and arrests were made. How romantic!
Slacker and Steve have a gnawing feeling that Rainbeau is going to be having a dry wedding.
The Irish wedding sets the bar pretty high, can you beat that? What was your wedding fiasco?
Yi Guys, my brother and sister and law got married last October. They have been discussing children and my brother has decided to go back to school for his masters in the fall. He told me THEY decided to wait till he finished his school and to be honest he is a party boy and not ready for parenthood yet but will be. They have been out of town for a month and during that time her sister has informed me that my sister in law has secretly decided to go off birth control and my brother will be fine with it once he is a dad. I have this information and I do not know if I should tell him and possibly ruin their relationship or if I should keep my mouth shut and possibly ruin his current life. HELP!
Slacker thinks that not telling her husband she has decided to go off birth control isn't fair to him. He says by doing this his wife is making a life altering decision for him, which is not okay. Steve says that sometimes men need to be pushed a little. Slacker had to push Steve into buying a house. Steve says at the time he was nervous, scared, and reluctant, but is so happy that in the end he did it – all he needed was that push. Slacker thinks that women have this hormonal change in their body where they wake up one day and say they are ready for kids, men on the other hand don't have that. Slacker still thinks that the husband has every right to know, regardless of the fact that sometimes men need that nudge. Either way, Slacker and Steve agree that if Natalie tells her brother she will ruin their marriage.
What do you think Natalie should do?
I think Natalie absolutely needs to tell her brother about her sister-in-laws major decision to go off birth control. Relationships are all about honesty and trust – that is the key to having a successful marriage. Starting a family is a decision that needs to be made between both husband and wife.
Women react differently to the term MILF. Some are flattered and others find it incredibly insulting.
Slacker and Steve think that women should be happy about being referred to as a MILF.
Slacker doesn't understand how this could be a bad thing. Basically you're telling a woman she is attractive despite the fact that she has a kid. Calling someone a MILF is like telling them they have aged exceptionally well…there's nothing wrong with that.
Have you ever been called a MILF? Do you think it is a compliment or derogatory?
As a girl, I think if a woman is called a MILF she should own it! That's such a huge compliment. After popping out however many kid's you still look fabulous, don't be ashamed!
Maybe you played with the dates a little…or said you've had some experiences you didn't…or even lied about your education! These are just a few of the most lied about things on résumés. Here are the top 10 résumé lies, according to Marquet International, a security consulting firm:
Stretching work dates
Inflating past accomplishments and skills
Enhancing job titles and responsibilities
Exaggerating educational background
Inventing periods of "self-employment" to cover up unemployment
Omitting past employment
Falsifying reasons for leaving prior employment
Providing false references
Misrepresenting a military record
Lying about your education in some states is illegal! Employers in every state can fire you with the snap of a finger if they catch you in any résumé lie. The chance of getting caught in a résumé lie is very high. Nearly 96 percent of all employers conduct background checks on prospective employees.
Slacker says that everyone lies on their résumés, if our résumés were truthful they would say, I suck at most things but I want to work for you. Omitting past employment…everyone does it. Steve says he was fired from two fast food chains, hence the beauty of omitting unnecessary information. Slacker and Steve said they know of a buddy of theirs who got busted lying on his résumé. He got a job because on his résumé he wrote that he worked for George Lucas. His boss won a dinner with none other than George Lucas where he found out his employee had completely lied about working with him…oops!
A lot of relationships end for crazy reasons. A 53 year old woman is claiming a Waka Flocka concert ended her marriage. Her husband told her he didn't want her to attend the concert but she did it anyway. She even paid extra to meet Waka after the show. She said her hubby hates rap and that this incident showed her that it was time to get out of this relationship. She's been divorced for two months.
Slacker thinks that Waka Flocka wasn't necessarily the reason why they broke up, but was perhaps the boiling point of built up tension. Slacker says that he likes his break-ups to be epic. He likes them to end with yelling and screaming so that there is closure. Steve says the straw that broke one of his relationship's back was a girl who ate peas obnoxiously. Slacker said he knew of a couple who were far enough into their relationship that they were on the verge of moving in together. One day he ran out of the bathroom shrieking there was a spider, and that was the end of that relationship!
What was the straw that broke the relationship's back for you?
A woman in Pennsylvania overheard a man on the train bragging about his affairs so she took a picture of him and posted it on Facebook. After being publicly shamed on Facebook this picture has gained a lot of attention and has been shared over 200,000 times!
Slacker and Steve were reminiscing on how eavesdropping has evolved. It used to be that everyone shared a phone line, making it easy to listen in on other people's juicy gossip, but now with baby monitors and new technology there are numerous ways. Regardless, Slacker and Steve agree that eavesdropping is awesome! Slacker knows of a crazy story where an employee overheard a guy on his blue tooth who was organizing a drug deal while in the drive-thru. The employee called the cops and before he knew it he was surrounded by cops.
What have you heard in public that you weren't supposed to?
When I was in second grade we had a field trip to the museum. My teacher decided to carpool with me and my friend whose father was driving. My friends dad set us up a movie to watch for the 20 minute car ride in which I heard my teacher and my friends dad flirting and making a date for the weekend. I never told him but something tells me he figured it out eventually.

Relations a usually good thing in marriage but Jodie is worried her husband might be cheating on her. Jodie wrote:
Yi! I'm 32 and have been married for 13 years. My love life was stagnant until a month ago when all of the sudden my husband became a tiger in the bedroom. As of late, he's become much more adventurous. Some nights he comes home from work and can't wait to get to bed. I asked him what's sparked his newfound enthusiasm. He said he's just been 'really up for the moment'. Should I believe him or be suspicious? Usually less lovemaking means a man's cheating. Am I missing something?
Steve says he is absolutely cheating. He doesn't understand why Jodie can't just enjoy it. He is confused why women always have to question it when their partners want to have relations and why they can't just roll with it. Slacker thinks that people hit an age where they become more comfortable with themselves and that Jodie's husband might have taken longer to reach that point. He says that when you're younger you are more concerned on the aesthetics during relations but you get to a point where you just don't care about that anymore. Slacker says that they have been married for 13 years, he knows she loves him, he is more comfortable with himself, there is no reason to jump to conclusions that he is cheating.
Do you think that Jodie should confront her man about cheating?
We got an email from Thomas who wants to win back the woman of his life. He wrote:
Yi guys! I know a lot of women listen to your show and I need their help. I was with an amazing woman and I lost her. I went through a period where I was too focused on my career and I wasn't there for her when she needed me the most. They say you don't always realize what you have until it's gone, and I have definitely realized that I let the perfect woman walk out of my life. I want to win her back and let her know exactly what she means to me. Can some women help me out and let me know what's a good way to win her back? Thanks!
Steve didn't want to do this topic. Slacker thinks that Thomas is romantic. He thinks that Thomas made an honest mistake and believes that it is never too late to try and win her back. Steve says that Thomas needs to move on and learn his lesson for future relationships. Slacker agrees that all women are different and don't always respond to romantic gestures but Steve is convinced he has the one sentence that will win any woman back – I was wrong. Steve's advice to Thomas is to sympathize with her and admit that he messed up. He says to acknowledge that he realizes how much he hurt her and put the ball back in her court.
How should Thomas win her back? Has anyone ever won you back?
YI! You hire them to be the responsible one but that's not how it always works out!
Slacker and his wife do not trust anyone with their children for multiple of reason. Slacker has friends who hired a babysitter and the wife gave the babysitter the green light to hit on her husband to see if he would go for it… needless to say that the husband was caught making out with the babysitter. Slacker never had babysitters growing up but Steve had twin babysitters who would switch off watching them, but they always showed up high.
We want to know the irresponsible or ridiculous things you've caught the babysitter doing?
Yi! Today's OPP is from Brianna; she's engaged and getting ready to move into an apartment with her fiancé…but his ex is causing a major setback…
I'm looking for some advice. My fiancé and I are getting ready to move into our first apartment together, and his ex refuses to give him his stuff back. He has a lot of expensive things, such as a bedset, coffee table, dining room table, chairs, tv, etc. in her storage unit. He has been consistent on trying to get in contact with her to get it back, yet she is being immature and a little ridiculous about it. She hasn't responded to any of his phone calls, messages or texts. I do not want to step in because I don't feel as if it's my place. We need this furniture for our place and don't know any other way of going about it. Help!
Steve originally just though that Brianna's fiancé was trying to avoid his ex up until he read that he has been actually trying to get his things back, now he is team Brianna. What can you do when a bitter ex hold on to your stuff… she's holding on to thousands of dollars of items. Slacker and Steve just don't know what to do.
I have a feeling that the ex either sold it, just because I cannot imagine someone holding on to someone's stuff and not giving it back. Maybe going to her house and actually being there to make sure that he gets the things back.
You've probably seen the commercials for the new movie "The Purge"… It's a movie where there are no laws for 12 hours. We want to know… If there were no laws for 12 hours, what would you do?
From the two and a half minute clip Slacker, Steve and Lil D this is what they have collected from the film "The Purge". Everyone gets along, there is no crime… it is like utopia. Except for one night out of the year where 12 hours there are no laws. We want to know what would be your vice; drugs, stealing, murder? Slacker isn't too sure that a purge is his thing unless if whatever you obtained in those 12 hours you could keep forever… Then Slacker would rob a bank. Lil D on the other had might have the most elaborate, plan yet… For the first ten years of the purge he wouldn't do anything and just same up all of his disposable income. On the 10th year of the purge he would purchase a jet and parachute… Right once the purge began he would be in New York to take out Mariah Carey, once she was take care of he would head to Toronto to take out Celine Dion… Back in the jet flying over a desert in Nevada he would put the jet on auto pilot jump out and have the jet crash into the Kardashian abode in hopes to taking all of them and and Kayne.
One fan of Lady Gaga fan is so obsessed with her that they paid $12,000 for one of her fake fingernails! We think that is ridiculous! It doesn't have to be a celebrity item, we just want to know…what's the most ridiculous thing you've ever spent money on?
Slacker has spent a ton of money on a concert ticket which he regrets… They both admit that they don't purchase anything ridiculous. In Vegas Steve purchased a $5,000 fake clam that was supposed to be a dog bed, but it now holds his toilet paper… the kicker, he had to buy it its own plane ticket.
What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever spent money on?
Yi, it's that time of the month again! Your craziest stories usually happen when you were drunk or a kid. Tell us your story and we'll try to guess which one you were!
You call in, tell a story where you were drunk or a kid, and Slacker and Steve will guess which one... The guys always make a bet on who will guess the most correctly. The past few months Steve has been wrong, so his sentence is dressing up as Avril and singing her song Girlfriend. Because he is not going to do triple or nothing, next week Avril's drag cousin Steve will be in singing.
Christine occasionally takes Xanax to take the edge off and to help relieve stress from her two little kids (2 and 4). Her husband has major issues with her being on Xanax and raising their children. She doesn't seem the problem because it is an occasionally thing, to help out.
Slacker doesn't fully understand the vice that she uses, be views Xanax in better standing than alcohol or weed when taking care of kids. Steve gets that wife's need to have the edge taken off when need be, and if its Xanax then that's fine.
What advice do you have?
Taking care of kids is a handful, and if she needs to take a pill occasionally to not be so stressed or have anxiety I don't see a problem with that. At least she isn't one of those Moms who take their children's medicine.
Yi, today's Great Mate Debate is from Matt and Lilo.
They're planning for their first child...at least he thought they were! Apparently she has something else in mind! Whose side are you on for today's Great Mate Debate?
Matt snooped on his wife's e-mail and found out that she has plans with her best friend to get pregnant at the same time, even though Matt wants to wait till he is further along in his career. Lilo and her friend Natalie want to get pregnant at the same time in order to go through the experience together. Matt feels that Lilo and Natalie went behind his back about getting pregnant.
Slacker and Steve think that Lilo and Natalie are plotting and scheming more so than they should be.
I see both sides of this debate. Ya, it would be great to go through all of the changes with someone who understands how you feel… On the other hand, you should also be financially stable if you're planning a pregnancy.
A Miami woman was leaving her hotel to meet her husband, but not before she was attacked by a group of territorial hookers who thought she was creeping on their turf. Employees from the hotel helped the woman escape, but she is still suing the hotel.
Slacker has been mistaken for Chris Daughtry and Howie Mandel. In Vegas, Slacker even used his mistaken identity in his favor… he pretended to be Chris Daughtry's brother.
When has your identity ever been mistaken?
I've been mistaken for one of the actresses from the ABC Family show Make It or Break It. I never used the resemblance to gain anything, but it's the thought that counts.
"Yi! My girlfriend's mother keeps flirting with me. I haven't told my girlfriend about the flirting because I know she'd be upset. She and her mother are very competitive and jealous of one
another. If I tell her, her mother will say I'm the one flirting. What do I do?
Today's OPP is darned if he does darned is he doesn't. If he does tell and the mom turns on him, Slacker and Steve both agree that the girlfriend probably won't believe his word over her mother's.
What advice do you have?
I think he should start with telling the mom to back off. It's inappropriate and clearly making him uncomfortable. If she doesn't listen then the only thing he can do is leave the situation all together or tell his girlfriend. He's clearly not enjoying it so his SO should understand that he's telling her because it's a problem and he needs help to make her mother stop.
You know when your man compares you to his mother? There's an official term for that now... "Mom Bomb." Oi vey!
Slacker's wife "mom bombs" herself. She'll cook something and then compare it to the way it used to taste when her mother made it. Also, Slacker's wife put sugar in the water to make corn on the cob once and Slacker remembers his mother putting salt in the water (which is what you're supposed to do)… needless to say, Slacker now knows to try his best never to "mom bomb" his wife again.
For 35 years, Nancy and Donald Featherstone have worn identical outfits - that's every single day for over three decades. Nancy is a dressmaker from Fitchburg, Massachusetts and has made over 600 matching outfits for the pair as a way to express how close the couple is. Even if her husband is out of town, the two will coordinate their outfits over the phone. Donald is the artist that created the pink flamingo in the 70's and he proposed to Nancy on their very first date.
Slacker says that he thinks that Steve is the type of guy that would do cutsie things with girls. He says Steve seems rough on the outside but will go home and watch a sentimental movie. Steve thinks that people in relationships are stupid...huh, go figure Steve would think that! Slacker used to be in a relationship and the girl would call him "bun," but he hated and had to put a stop to it.
What is the cute little thing you do with your significant other?
A brawl broke out at a kindergarten graduation ceremony at an elementary school in Cleveland. Two teen girls started hitting each other at the school and their families joined in. The brawl involved kids and adults with one person pulling out a pipe and another a hammer. The school was put on lockdown and police were called in. Eight people were arrested for their part in the fight.
Slacker said he always feel like brawls happen at a certain kid's pizza place. Slacker has been in a lot of brawls at concerts because people are drunk and rowdy. Steve said he was involved in a lot of brawls playing baseball in high school. It was a lot of pushing and shoving but nothing ever got serious with punches.
Have you ever been part of or witnessed a melee or brawl?
Yi! I've started dating this guy Greg who talks a big game, but rarely delivers. Greg is always talking about how he's an amazing cook or how big his house is or what an accomplished guitar player he is, but he's never once showed me. I've tried to call him out on this stuff, but he always has an excuse. It think it's weird and I truly can't tell if he's a liar or not. What do you think?
Slacker wants to talk to women that have been with guys like this. There are plenty of men out there that talk a lot to get the woman and then can't do it when it's time to put up or shut up. Slacker said he used to know a guy like this, but this guy did it with everyone. If Slacker was drinking whiskey, the guy knew the guy that made the whiskey. Steve says this is the typical case of "that guy" and Becky needs to get out of this relationship. Steve gets so mad at the male gender and gives this advice to guys that date: Just shut up and just listen to the woman you are dating!
We saw a video from an Ellen viewer imitating birds and a weed whacker…and she's good! We figured she can't be the only one out there that can do a good imitation.
Slacker can do a pretty good imitation of the Dyson hand dryers we have in the bathrooms at the station. He can also imitate someone typing on a keyboard. Steve doesn't possess the imitation gene...so he can't sound like anything.
Yi boys! I'm not really sure why I'm writing you. I guess I just needed to tell someone before my wedding. I'm getting married this weekend and I'm positive I want to, but I made an escape plan just in case I need to run. A friend from work will be waiting at a restaurant down the road before the wedding. If I need to, I can call her and she will come to pick me up and take me wherever I need to go. I know I'm not the only woman to ever do this (or am I?) and I thought maybe you guys could turn it into a topic. At what point should I call her off? Please don't say my name on the radio!
During Slackers first wedding he spent the night before with his best man and the whole time kept asking if he was sure he wanted to go where he was supposed to, or somewhere else. Even Lil D, his brother kept asking if he was sure, but the sarcasm was more prevalent.
Did you really have an escape plan?
I think the fact that she has made a plan and it's not a joke, she is going to run away, or not be happy in her marriage. I am not sure if others have a full out plan made, but this seems a little much for hours of planning and quite a bit of cash that will be lost and to still not be sure.
Over 25 million people in the U.S. fall for a scam each year! Was it a weight-loss product? A prize promotion? A work-at-home program?
People are dressing up in khaki pants and blue polos and are hanging around gas stations and fast food restaurants near Best Buy stores. These crooks then approach people and tell them "Hey....I'm a manager over at Best Buy. We just got a big shipment of t.v.s in and my boss is busting my butt to get rid of this shipment. Tell you what....come back to the store with me with some cash and I'll slip you a t.v. out the back door." People actually fell for this.
Steve one time bought speakers from a guy's truck… he actually received speakers, but they were not very good. Slacker and Steve are smart consumers. One time a sales man stopped by his home selling cleaning products, cleaned everything (grill, drive way) and then sprayed it in his mouth to show how safe it is. Never purchased any, but the sales man then used his name to sell to the neighbors.
How were you scammed?
One time my Uncle purchased a VCR out of a guys trunk, turns out it was just a box of rocks. But that is a 50 dollar lesson learned.
Yi! MY group of friends has completely shunned me and I think it's ridiculous. I had an affair 10 years ago and they just found out. My husband already knew and we worked through everything. My friends are mad at me because one of them is acquaintances with the wife of the guy I had the affair with and she discovered the affair is why their marriage broke up. Look, I know what I did was not a good thing but I don't understand why my friends are punishing me for it now. Is there anything I can do to get back on their good side? Do I tell them they're being ridiculous?
Slacker and Steve, know that this happened a decade ago. And have come to the conclusion that if your friends are shunning you, they aren't your real friends. Shannon had an affair 10 years ago, and granted they are finding out now. They are sure the group doesn't know everyone's dirty little secrets. Steve sees Shannon's point, they are just being ridiculous.
Slacker saw a family eating corn on the cob. Lil D saw a girl straightening her hair. Both of these are completely normal tasks…unless you're driving!
Slacker was driving late at night and starts seeing flashes at a stop light and the woman behind him is taking pictures… so then he gets behind her and just writes down her license plate number. He is freaked out on why someone would want his license plate number. While he is freaking out he looks over and sees an Asian family next to him (mom driving). This would be normal if the dad in the car wasn't handing out corn on the cob to everyone.
What is the craziest thing you've seen while driving?
The craziest things I have seen while driving was someone brushing their teeth… I have also seen someone shaving their face…
