Impulse Buying

YI!!
 
According to a survey, 9 out of 10 shoppers make impulse purchases. More than half of that are influenced by sales, thirty percent say they jump at an in-store sale coupons, and twenty-three percent say they just buy to treat themselves. Also Facebook friends are influencing you to make impulse purchases.
 
Slacker can understand how Facebook can influence what you buy because you see someone get something and talk about it and then you have to have it. His wife will spend hundreds of dollars when there is a sale, because she is saving money but she is still spending a lot.
Steve bought a car on in impulse. He went in and just bought a truck. He thinks he paid over price but he just wanted the truck because it looked cool and he wanted to get out of there. Steve also likes to buy home accent pieces.
 
I work in a mall so there is always temptation to buy. I try not to get there to early and leave right after to avoid shopping. Luckily the door is not too far from our store so I don’t have to walk buy any stores I like. I really don’t think what my Facebook friends really influence what I buy, but if I do see people with dessert or food it does make me want to go eat that. I like to shop around and make sure I am getting the best deal, but my boyfriend sometimes just likes to buy the first thing and get it over with, and it always doesn’t work out.
