There's a story going around about a woman who blew off her son's emergency appendectomy to go see Manny Pacquiao. Umm...excuse me? Your son could have died! She does claim that her son supported the idea (even though I imagine that he was screaming in pain at the time).
Steve thinks that Slacker wanted to skip the birth of his second child for a Lost party, but Slacker admitted to something else. He blew off a Journey concert to have relations with a girl. He and his best friend had gotten hooked on Journey and were supposed to go to the concert together...instead, Slacker blew it off and had relations with his best friend's girlfriend!
I skipped my fair share of school when I was in high school, but does that really count if my mom calls to get me out every time? I was a national competitive horse back rider back then and still am now. My mom would call to excuse me out of class for weeks upon weeks! I still don't know how I pulled off a B in my Calculus class. My teachers weren't too fond of me when I was out for 3 weeks at a time because I was in California getting tan while riding horses.
