Yi!
Jason and Amy are getting married and after seeing the mess of a wedding one of their friends had – complete chaos with children running wild- they both agreed that their nuptials would be kid free. However, Amy’s friend, Melinda, has a two month old baby that she basically refuses to leave at home and Amy is willing to make an exception. Jason strongly disagrees because he feels that if she was allowed to bring her baby more would have to be allowed to come because it wouldn’t be fair to the other family members and friends who have already made plans for baby sitters, etc.
Steve is wholeheartedly on Jason’s side. Slacker said that, if the baby was allowed to come, how much time would Amy be able to spend time with her friend anyway considering a two month old is clearly so demanding?
Whose side are you on?
I’m personally a fan of kid free weddings. In the end I personally don’t like kids in general, so to not have them at a wedding is okay with me. However, I feel that once a rule is made that rule needs to stand or change entirely (i.e. if one kid is allowed then all kids should be allowed or no children means no children). In this case, however, I agree that their “adults only” wedding should remain as that.
Stay classy!
