Steve has been called ace or slick before, but when he went to a store recently, someone referred to him as “big guy.” The guy doesn’t even know him! Slacker says he shouldn’t be offended because people always throw out things like that and they aren’t trying to be mean. He wonders though… Do women get called anything? Like when they go to a shoe store, do they get called honey or sweetie?
What have you been called by someone? Did you hate being called that?
Ugh, I hate it when a guy at a restaurant refers to me as a “ma'am.” Thank you ma'am, yes ma'am, what would you like ma'am? Do I look like I’m 40 years old? I’m a little offended by it… Slacker says that it is polite, but he may just want to re-think that. Just sayin’…
