A woman in court recently testified that she was traveling and went out to dinner with one of her friends. After dinner they went back to the hotel room where they decided to get it on and during relations a lamp fell on her causing injury to her face. The man testified that he had no recollection on how it happened because they were “going hard” but since she was traveling for her office, the injury occurred “during the course of employment.” The judge agreed with the thirty-year-old woman and she received worker’s compensation.
