A guy in Pennsylvania, Scott Bennett, put his mom's name in the obituaries. Before you start feeling bad for him, know that his mom is still alive! He only put her name in because he wanted some time off of work. Not only that, but he didn't tell his family what he planned! To say the least, they were confused and angry. Not sure if Scott got fired, but he definitely got arrested for disorderly conduct.
Personally, I don't like lying. It always comes out and you have to live with the guilt until it does, so what's the point? People just end up getting hurt. As for Scott, he made the lie big enough and didn't even tell his family that he's going to practically fake his mother's death. I'm not sure if he's in jail or had to pay a hefty fine or whatever he had to do, but I bet he got what was coming to him.
Did you ever get caught in a lie or witness the biggest lie ever?
