Over the weekend, five news stories were released regarding people having physical altercations while playing a simple board game. In Florida, a man knocked his own wife to the ground and choked her over the game of Yahtzee. A ten year old boy was playing a nice game of Monopoly with his grandma and her boyfriend before his grandma accused her own boyfriend of cheating and stabbed him!
Sadly, I haven’t played a board game since I was very young. We used to have a family game night every weekend, but the only time it may have gotten out of hand was when someone got upset they lost and chucked their fake money all over the place.
