"The Avengers" took in another $100 million in the US this weekend to push it over the $1 billion mark worldwide.
The superhero flick took in $103.2 million to come in first place over the weekend. With over a billion worldwide it now sits in 11th place among Hollywood's all-time worldwide blockbusters.
Johnny Depp and Tim Burton's latest team-up "Dark Shadows" opened up in second place with $28.8 million.
"Think Like a Man" fell from second to third with $6.3 million.
